This is a great treatment to add as a new service and very popular with clients. The stone massage therapy is a form of alternative medicine massage therapy and bodywork involving the placement of either heated or cooled stones to the body for the purpose of pain relief, relaxation and therapy. There are many variations and techniques used in the application of stone massage therapy, deriving from a variety of traditional practices. Stone massages are primarily used to alleviate physical pain issues, however, are also used to promote emotional and spiritual wellbeing in practice. â€‹This is a CPD course for existing therapists.

Online course work which is a combination of assignments and knowledge tests

1 day practical training session

5 treatments as case studies to be completed

Half day practical assessment session

A £95 (non-refundable) deposit is payable immediately upon booking and the balance is due 14 days prior to your practical training date. Payment plans are available for this course.

Pre-requisites

​

A good standard of written and verbal English

A massage qualification - not from an online course

 

An anatomy & physiology qualification is preferred but not essential. We offer an online A&P course if you wish to study this alongside this course click here.

Group training - no, students will work on each other.

One-to-one training - yes, you will be required to bring a model along to the practical training to practice your routine on.
