To become one of our training models at our training sessions, please complete the registration form below.

Whenever we require a model for a training course, we will send out an email to all those registered with the date, venue, the treatment you would be receiving and the cost.

Places are offered on a first come first served basis. We have a growing database of models and our treatments are in high demand. So if you see a date and treatment you are interested in, then please get in touch as soon as possible.

Terms & Conditions

Training models attending courses are there to help with the practical treatment element of the student therapist’s course. By registering as a training model, booking and attending a training session you agree to these terms and conditions.

The Training Session

You will be treated by the student therapist undergoing training and will be fully supervised by a highly experienced tutor. You are aware that you are acting as a model for the treatment and that the student therapist who is administering the treatment is being trained and supervised. You are attending as a model and NOT as client in private clinic. As such the protocols will differ from a commercial practice.

Training Model Expectations

Please note that the primary purpose of a model appointment is for the student therapist who is undergoing training to practice the treatment. Holistic Zone Training Academy can not therefore guarantee the same results as a full priced treatment with an experienced therapist/practitioner. You may, therefore, require further treatments with an experienced therapist/practitioner achieve your desired outcome.

Training Model Appointment Availability

All appointments are subject to availability and specific course dates and venues. All appointments must be paid for in advance and confirmed by Holistic Zone Training Academy before attending at one of our training centres.

Training Model Suitability

Training model applicants are responsible for reviewing all the information provided regarding each treatment and any problems that could occur, if relevant. By attending as a training model, you declare that you have no known allergies, medical conditions, or contra-indications to the treatment you request. You will be required to sign a consultation form on the training day to confirm that no contra-indicators exist and if something comes up in the consultation that is contra-indicated to the treatment, you may be refused treatment.

Fees Payable

Training models are required to pay a small fee for the treatment and this may vary depending on the course you are a training model for.

Timing of Model Sessions

You understand that as a training model in a training course, times are approximate and you may be required for up to 6 hours. This will be advised at the time of booking.

Reliability

Training model attendance is paramount to the student therapists training schedules. We ask that you are reliable and attend on the days and times you have booked for. We reserve the right to remove models from our database if they are constantly late, do not show up or otherwise disrupt the course provision.

Changes to Course Dates

In some circumstances e.g. illness we may need to change the course date. You will be given as much notice of this as possible and advised of the new dates. If you can not attend the new dates you will be refunded your fee.

Costs

We are not liable for any of your costs to attend the course as a training model such as travel or lunch.

Training Model Cancellation

In the event that you have to cancel your booking please give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, so that we can find another training model for the student. You will be removed from the database if you cancel several times with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Photographs/Video

Photographs and/or video may be taken on the day to use for training purposes. It may also be used on our website and in social media. As a training model you agree that these may be used.

Health & Safety

Please note we abide by all Health & Safety legislation and any relevant industry legislation. All training models must complete a medical history health & safety consultation form and informed written consent prior to any treatment. We regret that you are unable to bring any other person or children with you to your booking, unless that person is your carer and you have agreed this with Holistic Zone Training Academy in advance.

Exclusion of Liability and Disclaimer

While every effort has been made to ensure that all training model treatments provided during student therapists training sessions are of the highest standard possible, your decision to undergo treatment is solely of your own free will and choice and purely under these terms and conditions. Accordingly Holistic Zone Training Academy will not be liable or any loss, damages or misdemeanours caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly through an individual attending as a training model for treatments at Holistic Zone Training Academy.
