Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage is a popular mainstream therapy, and is offered at any reputable spa or beauty treatment clinic. Our comprehensive 2.5 day professional course guides you carefully through everything you need to know to carry out an aromatherapy treatment. This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the salon, anatomy and physiology and aromatherapy services. You will learn about the properties of essential oils, blending essential oils to suit your clients needs, also carrier oils and their own properties.

 

You will also have two day's practical training to develop your skills in all of the traditional Swedish Massage techniques for the front and back of the body, including feet, head and face massage too, so that you can deliver a very effective aromatherapy treatment.

Online course work which is a combination of assignments and knowledge tests

2 days practical training sessions

10 treatments as case studies to be completed

Half day practical assessment session

A £135 (non-refundable) deposit is payable immediately upon booking and the balance is due 14 days prior to your practical training date. Payment plans are available for this course.


Pre-requisites

​

A good standard of written and verbal English

 

An Anatomy & Physiology qualification is preferred but not essential. We offer an online A&P course if you wish to study it alongside this course click here.

 

For IICT accreditation only, students who have a pre-requisite in massage therapy or another complimentary therapy whereby they have learnt A&P can be approved for this modality.
